Within the framework of the agreement signed with the Metropolitan Public Company for Potable Water and Sanitation – EPMAPS, FADSE is committed to supporting the development and improvement of the capacities of various groups within the community, including children, adolescents, young people, students, adults, and community leaders, regarding the comprehensive and sustainable management of water. Our goal is to promote a “New Water Culture” that integrates technical and environmental tools with cultural and social knowledge, thus promoting a holistic approach to this vital resource.
To achieve this objective, the following activities are proposed:
- Design training modules and educational materials adapted to different target audiences (children, adolescents, students, community members and representatives) that promote awareness, learning, and knowledge about the importance of water conservation and sustainable use, including the strategy for their implementation.
- Develop and reproduce innovative and dynamic educational tools (physical and digital toolkits for workshops, facilitator training, among others) that enable effective teaching and learning about the new water culture in various contexts and communities (neighborhoods) of the DMQ.
- Develop implementation guides for the products of this consultancy so that EPMAPS can apply them effectively, ensuring their implementation in the different contexts proposed, as well as among the various target audiences.
