Development of the Methodological Framework for Multipurpose Digital Classrooms to Strengthen Technology Integration in the Teaching-Learning Process

This educational resource is part of the Ministry of Education’s 2021–2025 Digital Education Agenda, which aims to strengthen the effective integration of digital technologies into the educational process. Through the Methodological Framework for Multipurpose Digital Classrooms (ADM), the initiative seeks to guide teachers in the pedagogical use of digital resources, simulators, and hands-on materials from a multipurpose and interdisciplinary approach. ADM promotes the cognitive, social, and emotional development of students, as well as key technological and scientific skills for the 21st century. The resource addresses the challenge of moving beyond the instrumental use of technology by proposing a reflective, contextualized, and pedagogical approach. It also highlights the importance of teacher training and the convergence of digital technologies and emerging pedagogies to promote inclusive and relevant education in the Ecuadorian context.
