The “Colmena” project focuses on two key areas: the assessment and strengthening of Municipal Educational Institutions (IEMs), and the strengthening of Student Counseling Departments (DECEs) within the municipal education system.
To carry out the project, an assessment of the IEMs was conducted following the guidelines of the corresponding tool. Based on this assessment, an intervention plan was developed to implement and adapt the Colmena tools, which is carried out according to the results obtained.
Regarding the DECEs, an assessment of their needs and performance was conducted, which led to the design of a management model adapted to their specific characteristics. An intervention plan was proposed to strengthen the DECEs, based on the findings of the assessment and the designed model. In addition, a plan for workshops and other activities was developed to facilitate the adoption of the model and address the identified issues.
