More than 750 families strengthened their knowledge of child nutrition
The Sustainable Development Support Foundation of Ecuador (FADSE) successfully completed the first round of training sessions of the Good Nutrition and Health Practices Program, developed in the province of Carchi. This initiative is part of the “Desnutrición Crónica Infantil (DCI)” consulting project and the implementation of training processes in the provinces of the Northern Ecuadorian Association: Imbabura, Carchi, Esmeraldas, and Sucumbíos.
During this stage, more than 750 families participated in workshops on child nutrition, complementary feeding, hygiene, water treatment, and breastfeeding, reinforcing essential practices to improve the health of children and children under two years of age.
We thank the Prefecture of Carchi, the prefectures of the Northern Ecuadorian Association, and CODESPA for their support and trust. This achievement reflects interinstitutional commitment and the active participation of mothers, fathers, and caregivers.
We continue working toward healthier communities that are aware of the importance of good nutrition from early childhood.
